Apparently, Siri was not taught that loose lips can sink ships. A newly discovered iOS 11 vulnerability allows anyone to hear her read out the notifications from your phone, even when it’s locked. All you have to do is ask: “Hey, Siri, read my notifications.” Siri will gladly oblige, reading out the contents of any messages you may have received since you’ve locked your phone.

The issue has been reported to Apple, which is yet to respond. In the meanwhile, users are advised to limit Siri’s access by going to Siri’s settings page and disabling the ‘Allow Access When Locked’ option.
